One of the most vibrant aspects of Saint Lawrence Academy is its community. While parents are recognized as the primary educators of their children, the school employs a "team effort" in approaching a student's academic, spiritual, moral and social development. As a community we recognize that working together can accomplish so much more than working alone. A student's academic and personal growth and success is the goal for which all are working.
There are many opportunities for parents, students and faculty to join together as one community. Parents are always invited to attend the Academy monthly masses. Counselors have an open door policy for students to see them. Social events, such as Trivia Game Night, the Annual Auction, Back-to-School Barbecue and more, bring all three groups together. Parents are encouraged and invited to meet with teachers and counselors to plan their students' academic path. Parents support the faculty through fund raising, work days and the always appreciated "Faculty Appreciation Luncheons."
