Counseling

program image

The Saint Lawrence Academy Counseling Program works with students, parents, and teachers to ensure that the academic and personal needs of all students are met. A four- year academic counseling plan allows students to meet with their freshman/sophomore advisor and their junior/senior advisor on a regular basis. Academic sessions focus on a student's individual academic progress and college planning. Ninety-nine percent of Saint Lawrence Academy graduates will enter college.
In the area of personal counseling, students have an opportunity to have their individual personal concerns addressed in a professional and confidential manner. Group sessions are held on topics throughout the year to address student needs.
Throughout the school year, assemblies are hosted for both students and parents addressing issues of particular relevance to teens. The Counseling department hosts college presentations by various colleges and universities, accompanies students to the Santa Clara Valley College Faire, and coordinates annual PSAT and PLAN testing.
