As a service to Saint Lawrence Academy families, Economic Driving School, offers two convenient methods for completing the state-required drive education program: a classroom- based course or an online course. Either course will fulfill the California Department of Motor Vehicles course requirement.

Classroom Course
Driver Education, the state-required course for students to obtain their instruction permit will be offered periodically at Saint Lawrence Academy. Driver Education is a Life Skill class. The course is four days in length and is offered from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm. There is no substitute for the student-teacher interaction, discussion, video analysis and instant feedback that takes place in the classroom. Registration flyers are available outside the Main Office or you can download one from http://www.economicdrivingschool.com/StLawrence.htm.
The cost of the course is $150.00 (up to three weeks before the start date), or $165.00 (up to one week before the class date). If you register on the first day of class, the class fee is $180.00. Checks should be made payable to:

Online Course
The online course is approved by the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Reading, flash graphics, videos and quizzes will prepare the reader to pass the written DMV test. Once you have registered, you can begin immediately. To register go to: www.economicdrivingschool.com/online
You must register online for this course. The cost of the course is $68.50. When registering, be sure to complete the question that says: How did you hear about us? Select "school" and enter code 3013. Doing so ensures that a donation will be made to Saint Lawrence Academy.
